Initially, when I click on 1.3.11 to upgrade, on the install.php,
it complained that trackback table already existed. then trackbackcodes, then pingservice
I delete those tables and rerun the upgrade.

Then I get this: 1060: Duplicate column name 'rdflimit'

I reloaded the DB and try 1.3.10 upgrade, no help.
Then i reloaded the DB and try 1.3.9 per reading the forum.

I am sure my installation has been upgraded from 1.3.9 to 1.3.11, and a couple of RC over the years.

is there anyway to do a fresh start?

I just need the stories, staticpages, and topics move over from the current DB . It is an information site, no register users.

After many years of upgrading, patches etc.. I have decided to reload 1.4.1 fresh and redo everything.

Well, I guess it's too late now, but are you sure you were on 1.3.11 before the upgrade? All the tables and columns you mentioned (trackback, rdflimit) were only introduced in 1.4.0 ...
