I had some noob shut down my site again by overloading it with thousands of page requests. Theres to many IP's to ban them all (geeklog was reporting over 150 users at any one time). In GUS it is reporting the host as 207-226-92-178.gotwebhost.com (but with different IPs). Will adding a REMOTE_ADDR ban with the domain name gotwebhost.com ban all ips under this domain or do you have to use an actual IP address here only?
If I can't ban a domain name directly like this how does the matching work, I lot of the ips seem to be in this range
207.226.88 to 94.185 to 190
and
66.112.216 to 226.17 to 30
Thanks for any help
