How do you get stories to archive and/or delete

I have tried the feature in a story to archive it. It does not seem to work, am I missing something. Also tried to do auto delete and this does not work.

The delete option should work just fine. Please provide more information.

For the archive option, you need to make one of your topics an archive topic first. The wiki has the details.
