here's the error;
Permission denied in /hsphere/local/home/ :blahblah: /lib-common.php on line 1683

I just recently switched from one domain to another and everything went smooth with the exception of this.

Is there anything in your log file, error.log? Does this file error.log have propper access rights, possibly 777?

Weddington: You better check the permissions on all the directories and files listed in the installation instructions again. My guess is that the backup failed because of that and it then couldn't log that problem in error.log because the permissions there are also wrong ...

ok I checked the permissions and now I get the following error;

ERROR: Directory /hsphere/local/home/ :blahblah: /backups/ is not accessible.

This means that the backups directory is still not writable.
