Ok i checked my geeklog site sunday and i noticed it was real slow but i had made no mods so i just figured it was heavy traffic on my internet provider or something. This morning from i checked it from my work and it was slow again and when i say slow normally the main page loads in 8 seconds but it was loading in 60+ seconds! I figured it was a problem with my provider. I had three other people on different isp's check it and they too said everything was slow as could be. Now i get nothing it just times out but godaddy ( my hosting company) swears the site comes up perfectly for them , anyone have any ideas what could cause this? I checked just accsessing an image file and that comes up ok but anything php seems to be dead in the water.

The site or the server? Very often they only check the server and not the site (php, mysql). Anyway it is diffucult to help you if you don`t post your url here.

Well it seems all is well today, my guess is they where checking the server not the site. Here are the excuses i was given, first it was a scripting error on my part. When i explained i had changed nothing they then began to try to blame all the calls geeklog did to the sql database, i then pointed out i had only one database and i was allowed ten with the service i purchased. They then backed down a bit and geeklog actually ended up saving me, the tech pointed out that in the lower right hand corner of my site it says how long it took to generate a page and if that number was high then it was thier fault. I then asked him who i would e-mail the screen shots of it saying it took 89 seconds to load the page he just insisted took .36 seconds. This shut him up and mysteriously my site began running at lightning speed again, im assuming they restrted sql again.
Anyway the site is Baddrink.com, its my first site and sorry to those i embarass or offend.
