Hi all,

I'm looking for a good, easy to use free host for Geeklog.

I don't really mind about adverts, bandwith restrictions or disk space usage as I just want to try installing and using the software before committing to a paid site.

Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Chalky.

Hello Chalky

Try out these two;

This first one you need to post 5 times in their forum then request the free hosting (but its completely free afterwards and you don't need to post any more to their forums if you don't want to)
This second one is free with no posts required.

Neither display any ads at all :banana: ....

Thanks joyco Smile

I've tried justfree and awardspace, but they're a waste of time imho.

I don't know about free hosting, but I would recommend going to godaddy.com and signing up for their $3 per month hosting. You can cancel it after one month if you want. But for $3 they auto load geeklog on your site through their metropolis service thing and it works right away. I have 3 other small sites hosted on that plan and use geeklog on one of them. I love it! I used joomla on the other 2 and am still trying to get them just right, but my site with geeklog is up and running with content and my google ads! I have no affiliation with godaddy other then being a customer.
