If I upload, say, foobar.jpg, it uploads it as public_html/libraryfoobar.jpg

Get it? No slash between library and foobar.jpg !

I'm talking about v1.4.1 and I haven't modified FCKEditor (or $_CONF_FCK['imagelibrary'], for that matter).

P.S.
When I use FCKEditor to browse the library folder, it's fine. Obviously I can't see the parent folder that holds the library* files...

Please people, it cripples FCKEditor (in multiple sites)!

Can you at least tell me how to make it create a fckeditor_log next to access_log and error_log?

I re-tested the image upload on several of my sites and did not have an issue. I've been using this feature on multiple sites included hosted sites and was not expecting an issue but retested. I can upload images without issue and am using a default setup.

There is no longer a debug mode for the connector and file browser. That was an option when we used the mcpuk browser plugin.

If anyone else is having an issue uploading images via the Advanced Editor - please post and include more information on your server setup.

I had this same problem, fckeditor uploaded to /images with "library" prepended to the image filename sans slash.

So I ignored the "no trailing slash" instruction and changed

$_CONF_FCK['imagelibrary'] = '/images/library';

to

$_CONF_FCK['imagelibrary'] = '/images/library/Image/';

(I also changed permissions of /images/library/Image to 757.)

It works except that fckeditor browses images one directory lower than it loads to. It even created some directories in order to do so. (So I will be looking through fckeditor configs sometime.) This does not effect image inclusion though, as the correct path is passed to the editor on upload.

I think it happened since I've updated PHP v5.1.2 to v5.2.1, but then again it happens to Ook in PHP v4.

PHP v5.2.1
Redhat Linux v2.4.9-e.70 + Apache v1.3.27
GL v1.4.1
magic_quotes_gpc = Off
magic_quotes_runtime = Off
magic_quotes_sybase = Off
register_ globals = off
No changes to the default GL settings for the advanced editor and library settings
