Hi

I just migrated from one windows server to another (the web hosts did this for me) and now I can not get some of the block contents to show in the gldefault block "Admin's only" and "User Functions"
Admin's only looks like this;
Text Formatted Code
Submissions (0)
Stories (1)
Blocks (14)
Topics (4)
Links (3)
Events (3)
Polls (0)
Users (4)
Groups (20)
Mail Users (N/A)
Content Syndication (0)
Plugins (7)
(N/A)
(N/A)
(N/A)
(N/A)
(N/A)
(N/A)
DB Backups (N/A)

You see the N/A's, I assume they are;
staticpages
Forums
File management
chatterblock
messenger
faq

User Functions looks like this;
Text Formatted Code
User Functions
My Calendar

Account Information
Preferences
Log Out

Notice the spaces in the users block the spaces I assume are;
upload files
submission
messages
polls

Does anyone know how to fix this or what I should be looking for?
Thanks

I wonder....check your database to see if there are any inconsistencies in the plugins. Everyone of the mentioned links that you posted after the menu are plugins. Do the plugins that have no links in the admin block work? Do you have any error messages in your error.log file?

Hello

Checked the database, every thing looks great inthere so its not that;
The plugins do work if I type in their location in the site but their links wont show in the admin area or the user area.
The error logs show nothing....

I event tried installing the geeklog-1.4.0sr5-1 to a different location, there was only one (na) showing and one space in the user functions block (I assume this was the staticpages plugin), then when i installed the messenger, and each subsequent plugin they did not show in either area????

Wonder what is going on? Do I need to specify permission in the plugins folders?
This is a windowz 2003 host....

Thanks for any info.

Sounds more like an issue with the plugin's language files.

All of them?

No plugin links show (not even the default static pages one bundled in geeklog 1.4.0sr5-1) seems too many to be the problem.

How could I check that though, for example lets say on the static pages that you have bundled into the version above?

What happens if you, say, log in as the Admin and go to http://www.example.com/admin/plugins/staticpages/ (on your site, of course)?

Do you see any texts from the plugin there?

bye, Dirk
