Hi people,

i will be posting some questions in the following days. I'm completely new at this and i want to become a very good one Wink

Please be patient with me, some questions will make you think im really dumb but i have ZERO experience with this.

First one: I installed the complete thing (with plesk) and i get the page on the url http://nooitmeernaarhuisoleole.nl/geeklog/public_html/index.php

However i want to have it so that i see the blog on "http://nooitmeernaarhuisoleole.nl" which is the root domain name.

How can i change it so that i see it like that?

Thanks!

See if you can change the web root (document root) of your site to point to the public_html directory. Some hosting services let you do that.

Otherwise, you will have to move the files around. See the manual installation instructions, specifically the bit about public_html.

As convenient as these auto installers may be - I have yet to see one that installs Geeklog correctly ...

bye, Dirk
