Unexpected error in Forum Install
Hi guys --
I just recently downloaded the forum files and have been following the installation instructions for the Forum component. All went seemingly well... until I tried modifying settings for my new Forum.
Here's where I'm at: I've signed in as Admin... I click on "Forum" and see a menu bar that reads "Stats, Settings, Forums...etc"
Everything seems to work except the "FORUMS" and "MESSAGES" tabs. When I click either of those, the screen goes blank and my browser's status bar indicates that the page has fully loaded. Indeed, the boards.php and messages.php files are in the directly they're supposed to be in... but nothing comes up.
What am I missing here?
FYI -- I'm using a GoDaddy.com account... I tried a manual install and had problems (1.4.1) so I used the GoDaddy.com installer to install 1.4.

Dirk,
Thanks for your help today. Seems what resolved all of my issues was (as you suggested) backing up the database and trying to upgrade it again. When I got to 1.4.1, my forum issues were resolved with a little tweaking.
Thanks again!
