Not sure how to describe this one, am doing a new install of GL 1.4.1 and I get to the page that says Geeklog Installation, Page 1 of 2.

When I press Next, it goes back to the same page (Page 1 of 2).

I checked error logs and there is nothing. Have double checked config.php and lib-common.php and they all seem OK.

Anyone had this before, or could it be I have some kind of weird proxy setting going on?

I have fixed it.

I don't know why, but I removed the apache handler for PHP. My web host has a default apache setup for php which uses .php for php, and .php5 for php 5. I changed the default .php handler to be the same as for php5 so that anything using the .php extension used php5 (I am struggling with a mediawiki install and need php5 for that).

When I removed the apache handler to take .php files back to php4, it all worked fine.

Just in case anyone has the same issues!
