Forum 2.3 errors... Topic does not exist. It possibly has been deleted

I know we have heard this one before... but my search didn't help me fix the error...
I have Geeklog ver 1.4.0sr5-1 & i'm running forum ver 2.3
Everything was working fine (I didn't make any changes), then all of the sudden I get the old "Topic does not exist. It possibly has been deleted" error for all topics.
I can't imagine how it would make any difference, but my host upgraded cpanel around the time this started happening...
I don't think my ver of geeklog requires register globals to be on, so I haven't found a fix...
If anyone can help me, the site is:

Geeklog doesn't, but the Forum does. Only Forum versions 2.6 or later are working with register_globals = off.
