Is GL designed to do this ?

I"m a bit confused on how GL does things

from what i can see it displays left side (middle) right side

and if we want to move the left side over next to the right for some reason it combines the two into a single sidebar

how to set it up to have two sidebars to the right of the content ?

according to the html code there's a right block and a left block but GL appears to treat them both as the same

any advice ?

What you might want to do is go over to the http://demo.geeklog.net site to have a look at the mind-break theme by Eric Warren. Download that theme and have a look at it and to customize that theme as its already updated and ready to go.
