Does anyone else have admin GUS privs? Could you or they have hit the Remove Data button, instead of the Clean Up button, by accident? I know I've done that and it sucked, but not that bad as I only lost a weeks worth of stats. Ended up reloading from backup.

NO, this happened on more than one site.
It's no big deal just annoying.

Well then you have a long and daunting task ahead of you. Unless of course you get lucky. Start searching the logs on your site(s), including the server logs if you can. If nothing shows up from your searching, then question the host provider. They may have felt that your database was getting to large for them to handle. If thats the case, then you have a problem with the provider doing stuff they have no authorization to do.
