I have had Geeklog (v.1.4.1) installed and have been playing with it for the last few weeks. I've got nearly everything customized the way I want it and I am getting ready to go public with the site.

 Somehow tonight I seem to have broken a file. My site has the letters "LBLBLBLB" at the very top left of the page and then just the letters "LB" at the bottom left of most blocks. I assume I screwed up a command line somewhere and it is causing Geeklog to render the "LB" linebreaks in the php code, but I have failed to find the problem in any of the files that I have recently changed. :banghead:

Maybe some of the coders here can tell me a likely place to look that might cause this behavior? I hate the thought of starting over with a fresh install after all of this work. Cry

If anyone thinks they can help, I can PM you a link to the temp location of the site.

I appreciate any help you can give.

EDIT: New symptom: When I logged out of the site and tried to log back in, I get the following error for any username I try to use:

"Tue Sep 4 10:28:42 2007 - 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' )' at line 1. SQL in question: DELETE FROM gl_speedlimit WHERE (type = 'login' ) AND (date < unix_timestamp() - )"

EDIT: Fixed: The config.php got corrupted during ftp to the site. About the bottom 20% of the file was missing. Guess that will do it. Smile
