Is this just me, or did it recently become impossible to turn off the right blocks on a static page?

No, it's not just you - I'm having the same problem.

Do you two have $_CONF['show_right_blocks'] = true? If so, that's a known bug that's already been fixed in CVS. I could probably dig out the patch if you need it.

Yes, I do have right blocks=true. I confess, to my utter shame, that I do not know how to take advantage of something that's been fixed in CVS. I'm going to read up and see if I can figure it out; it's high time. If you have the patch handy, though, it would be much appreciated.

Here is the fix as a diff on the geeklog-cvs list. The two lines marked with a '+' need to be added (without the +).



No problem. Most of the time, pulling stuff from CVS won't really help you anyway, as the file may now depend on changes elsewhere.

For 1.4.1, we're currently maintaining a separate branch that is strictly "bugfixes only". We haven't decided if we're ever going to release it since there don't appear to be any major bugs in 1.4.1.

The wiki has some information on checking out from a branch. The name of this branch, if you want to try it, is geeklog_1_4_1_1
