More Events block woes

Hey all. On this site, events that take place today don't show up in the Upcoming Events block. Is there something silly I've overlooked, a config.php setting perhaps?

According to that site's calendar, there aren't any events for today or tomorrow. The next event is on the 8th.

If that's not what you'd expect, check the permissions on the "missing" events - they may not be visible to everyone.

Check:

* servertime and time-settings (and offset) in config.php
* starttime of the event
