The following is the error.

Text Formatted Code

An error has occurred:
2 - move_uploaded_file(/public_html/filemgmt_data/files/MP-cropped.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory @ /home/geeks/public_html/admin/plugins/filemgmt/index.php line 1306

array(9) {
  ["newfile"]=>
  string(47) "/public_html/filemgmt_data/files/MP-cropped.jpg"
  ["directory"]=>
  string(33) "/public_html/filemgmt_data/files/"

  string(14) "/tmp/phpKWtRoP"
  ["logourl"]=>
  string(14) "MP-cropped.jpg"
}

(This text is only displayed to users in the group 'Root')

All files are in there respective directories.

File Permissions are set to 777 for /public_html/filemgmt_data/ folders

All /public_html/filemgmt_data/ folders exist and yes even /public_html/filemgmt_data/files/tmp/

The error occurs exactly at the line of code remarked
Text Formatted Code
// move temp file to upload directory

Which occurs after this remark
Text Formatted Code
// is this temporary file really uploaded?

The error indicates that the file is not being written to the server but the remarks for the error checking in the code indicates that the file is written to the server though I can find no record of it.

To note that this is not the snapfile function though the remarks in the code indicate it, it's likely the remarks are copied from the snapfile upload function

The bottom line is I'm sure the code is solid. So what the heck am I doing wrong?

Have you tried small files yet - as in less then 1MB?

I was having the same issue. I assumed that the install created the directories ~/public_html/filemgmt_data/file , snap , and category snaps. I created them and then I ALSO had to modify the referance to them in the filemgmt admin to reflect the current path on my server. And it works.
