Search of static and external pages that contain PHP can't be searched on my Geeklog websites. Is this normal or have I done something wrong?

An example of a static page with this problem can be seen at:
http://www.historyandnews.co.uk/geeklog/public_html/staticpages/index.php?page=20060219235749226

If I search for buswell a word that appears near the top of this file it can't be found.

That's funny, I was looking for a way to exclude some Static Pages from search, you provided the solution: simply use php enabled pages... Idea

In case beewee's response isn't clear, the staticpage plugin does not search php enabled pages.

Are external PHP pages searchable?

In the external page readme file it says:
For a normal page just the url to the page would be used, for a php page that has dynamic content
then the full url should be used (e.g. http://www.your.site/page.php). If the full url is used then
the php is executed and a search would be performed on the result.
If I enter the full url all searches fail as the search seems to join the full url onto the end of the unix path. Does anyone know how to make the search work?
I notice the homepage for this plugin no longer exists.

After much trial and error testing I have found that if I change the header and remove the substr function the search works.
I change subsstr('pageurl',1) to just 'pageurl'.
If I then put full url in for pageurl search works on external PHP pages.
