Are you running MS SQL Server? That option is not available for that database.

To see the DB Backup entry, you need to be a member of the Root group, use MySQL and have $_CONF['allow_mysqldump'] = 1 in your config.php.

What happens when you call up www.example.com/admin/database.php directly?

bye, Dirk

$_CONF['allow_mysqldump'] = 1 this was set to 0, and i changed it to 1 like you told me , and now i have the option in adnim menyu to make backup. When i call admin/database.php i have the option to make new backup, but when i do that i get error just error no reason, and size of new backup is 0 bytes. I never touched any of settings in config.php axcept those that wer needed for some plugins........
but atleast now i have option in my admin menu Smile
I‚l have to by you some beer Dirk, im bothering you for 5 days with my problems Smile .
Thanx for your patience and time.
