I know about adding {author_photo} to get the pic to show up for comments but how does one do that for articles? I'd like my pic to show up every time i post an article as well... I tried adding it to the article.thtml but it doesn't seem to work.

Thoughts?

I'm using chameleon and my article.thtml looks like this by default:

{formatted_article}
<div class="floatleft" style="width:50%;">{whats_related}</div>
<div class="floatleft" style="width:50%;">{story_options}</div>
{trackback}
{commentbar}

i tried this to no avail:

{author_photo}{formatted_article}
<div class="floatleft" style="width:50%;">{whats_related}</div>
<div class="floatleft" style="width:50%;">{story_options}</div>
{trackback}
{commentbar}

Change that to contributedby_photo. That seems to be the variable name in lib-story.php. I haven't tried this.

Looks like a bug. FWIW, it doesn't seem to be working in the CVS version either.

{contributedby_photo} works in storytext.thtml, but not in article.thtml

That is, in does work like that in 1.4.1. It doesn't work at all in CVS. Damn regressions ...

Ah, I looked in lib-story.php not article.php. I suppose the next question is, why doesn't article.php use STORY_renderArticle?
