Hi to all,
Using geeklog 1.4.1 , I made a site. But when I go for HTML validation of index page I found a message---

Sorry! This document can not be checked.
and
Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 415 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.
The error was: utf8 "\xE9" does not map to Unicode

I am using utf-8 encoding in the config.php. Should i change it to other encoding ? If change then which encoding i can use. Please reply me if anyone find a solution.

The error message pretty much says it all. The W3C validator (if that's what you're using) has an option to display the HTML source of your site with a convenient link to jump right to the error in question. That should make it easy to figure out. Probably a character somewhere in your content that's not a UTF-8 character but a special character in some other character set (e.g. a national character of whatever language you're using).

bye, Dirk
