I don't know too much about the new Geeklog 2 but wanted to comment on the current 1.4.2. Please use better field names! Just a few I found just starting to use Geeklog are field names like "Date" and "Comment". These are reserved words in many applications and are just terrible in general to use as a field name. I'm sure there are more. Go to this reserved word checker site http://www.petefreitag.com/tools/sql_reserved_words_checker/ and check the names against it. Thanks

I remember Mambo having used MySQL reserved words and they had terrible problems e.g. when sombody did an automatic backup through cpanel.
