Hi,

Where is the text 'Site Events' in the events block coming from in 1.4.1 ?

This has been removed from the laguage files and does not change when my language changes.
Previous versions had it in $LANG01 at 102. Now 101 and 102 are empty.

I cannot have this in my block and would like to remove it or rename it manually.

Thanks,
Rick

More info on this.

I am using1.4.1 Professional here. English language files have 101 and 102 empty.
Danish language files have correct translations for 'your events' and 'site events' in 101 and 102 of $LANG01.

It is not obeyed in the block
.
How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Rick

The block is part of the Calendar plugin now. And since there is no Danish translation for the Calendar plugin it's using the Calendar's English language file instead.

Thanks Dirk,

If I wanted to translate a file, would it just be automatically used, or do I need to configure it somewhere to use danish.php for the specific calendar language?
I mean, if I have danish as my preferred or global language, will it use a new danish language file in the calendar, or do I need to tell it to use it somewhere?

Thanks again,
Rick

I translated the english.php and added it as danish.php file to plugins/calendar/language/ .
It works fine.

Thanks,
Rick

Glad to see you already figured it out on your own.

For future reference: The plugin language files simply have to have the same name as the main language file and then they'll be picked up automatically.

bye, Dirk
