Is there a way to change all users preferences to show online status?

It seems that many users settings have this checkmark removed.
I would like to globally change this to show online.

Thanks,
Rick

You would have to go into the database and set 'showonline' in table gl_userprefs to 1 for everyone.

You should also tell your users that you did it (or are about to do it). Doesn't sound like a nice thing to do without a warning ...

bye, Dirk

Thanks. No, normally it would not be nice.
However, it is a girl's gymnastic team and families, so I will do this.
The main problem is that this theme for some reason does not show 'preferences' in the 'mode=edit' mode any more.
The users cannot go in and set this themselves.
I do not know how to get that to show without making some link somewhere :

http://www.grevepigerne.dk/usersettings.php?mode=preferences

And since many of the 350 users are kids, it is a hassle to explain.

I like the way the the Professional them shows these things, but cannot get this theme to show the preferences.

Thanks,
Rick
