Keep getting this error trying to install

I am trying to install Geeklog in a test machine running windows XP and Xampp when I get to stage 2 and click on next this is what I get:
Warning: require_once(/geeklog/system/databases/mysql.class.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\xampp\htdocs\geeklog\system\lib-database.php on line 117

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/geeklog/system/databases/mysql.class.php' (include_path='.;D:\xampp\php\pear\'Wink in D:\xampp\htdocs\geeklog\system\lib-database.php on line 117


and this is what is on line 117 of ref file:
require_once($_CONF['path_system'] . 'databases/'. $_DB_dbms . '.class.php'Wink;

I don't know what to put in this line or what to change. I keep getting a parse or syntax error everytime I chnge it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure to set $_CONF['path'] to the complete path to your Geeklog install. Going by the error messages, you should have

$_CONF['path'] = 'D:/xampp/htdocs/geeklog/';

Thank You Dirk That did the trick and it installed, but when I try to bring it up I get a 404 error. So I am still looking at paths. something amiss somewhere. It installed OK or appeared to. But when I do localhost/geeklog thats when I get the 404 error.

Try localhost/geeklog/public_html
