So I ran through the config.php changes, and the lib-common.php changes, started the install, and had no path problems that i can tell.

I do however, run into this problem.
after step 2, it creates the tables, and i get this in my browser.


Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '*' in xxx/public_html/lib-common.php on line 787

where xxx is the full path to this file.

Seems odd...

Sounds like you may have a corrupt lib-common file. Replace it with the one from the archive and make the path change in that new file for the config line and see if that solves the problem
