I am setting up a multilingual site using en / fr under GL1.4.1

I have the switch working as follows

"test_en" will only show in english
"test_fr" will only show in french
"anothertest" without an extension does not show in either language

I would like to have the option for a single item of content such as "anothertest" show when either language is selected - should this be possible?

Which objects are we talking about? It sort of works with stories and topics but may not work with others (haven't tested everything, but I think it's not working with static pages).

The multi-language support does have some known limitations ...

can you tell me how fix the topics in multilingual site?
they always get messed up (i get number and dollar and hash signs).

Also when you change from plain text to html or advanced editor that also kinda messes things up
(or vice versa)
