Over the past few days, I have seen a significant increase in the number of users trying to register with .cn mail addresses. Upwards of 15 a day.
Can I combat this in some way?
I have SpamX running but I dont think it was built for this problem.
Thanks
Mike

Spam-X doesn't look at user submissions.
You could install the CAPTCHA plugin and activate it for the registration.
There's also $_CONF['disallow_domains'], which takes a comma-separated list of regular expressions of domain names you don't want to let through.
bye, Dirk

Do you have BadBehavior running? It stops bots. http://www.gllabs.org/article.php?story=bb2_2013
