Seems I borked a buddies site upgrading him this weekend.

Hmm, strictly from the error messages, I'd say lib-common.php is missing. Or maybe not readable for the webserver?

Upon install of the upgrade I cannot get past this ...

My guess would be: Geeklog trying to update the feed for a plugin that isn't installed.
