After I login to my ../admin/ page, I am taken to the moderation.php page.

The admin login name and my password are accepted.

The moderation page shows only

Authentication required

and the login fields for Username: myadminname
and Password: ***************

then a message in red..
"All access to administrative portions of this web site are logged and reviewed.
This page is for the use of authorized personnel only."

Nowhere do I see any Admin icons or links.

php register_globals is set to on in php.ini
cookies are enabled in by browser(s) I tried both IE6 and firefox, and have cleared them several times.

I also added another user and with the sql script have successfully added the usrid to gl_group_assignments

Any clues?

I tried all those things with no success.

So, I tried at another hosting account I have with different host.

That all worked perfectly the first time.

I will dump the other host at first opportunity.
