I am trying to use an analitics tool to my Geeklog but I cannot seem to get visability into the Static Page viewing. Can someone please help enlighten me on what file I modify and where in the file I put it.
I would appreciate you help.
Thank you,

Not sure what it is you're trying to do.
If you have some HTML code, you can simply embed it into the content of your static page. Alternatively, if you want to have it in each and every static page on your site, you could embed it in the static page templates (in plugins/staticpages/templates).
bye, Dirk

If you put the tracking code in a single static page, make sure the system doesn't filter out the javascript, and do not use the advanced editor.

I was able to locate the header.thtml file in the /layout folder and add the java script to that. Now all of my pages are sending data to the Analytics system.
Thanks for the replies.

it's better to use footer.thtml, but if it works fine, it's fine by me too

The header is working great but I am curious to know what I might be "missing" by not using the footer - what do you think it would change?
