I just got geeklog to work, i configured email to send out via google, then i tried just to make a test account
when i put everthing in, i got the error rendering this page, i know this is a thing it shows because it doesnt want to show
the real error as the faq says but iono how i would be able to see this error while logged in as admin.

Anyone know whats up? did i not set up something?

The 'rootdebug' option is now in the Configuration Admin panel:

Configuration > Miscellaneous > Debug > Root Debugging

I've also updated the FAQ now accordingly.

Ah that helped alot thanks , now i get this error

2 - mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() @ C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP 2.0b1\system\pear\Mail\mail.php line 125

i guess i set up my mail wrong?

Looks like it. Sounds like a setup problem on the server end, actually. I guess this is your own machine?

You can also try this FAQ article (another one that needs an update ...) for the other options you have (in the Configuration panel now).

yea am trying to send mail through my gmail? can i do that? i mean am just trying to host a blog out of my out network basically,
i have easyphp set up but i just don't know how to get my gmail to auto send these messages, is there a tutorial or anything?
