Hi,
I installed this pgeeklog locally, it works great had minor issues but coul work through them with help from your end. however, i am trying to put it remotely via ftp and i got there with no problem.
I have two directories, as I do locally one holds the public stuff abe the other the geeklog stuff. same as my local set-up.
db-config is in the geeklog directory.
I am able to get the install.php up, now here is the problem, i can not get it to find the path to db-config. no matter what path i try it can not be found. I had no problem installing it locally like this and I about ready to snap.
/mom/db-config.php
/root/mom/db-config
/hrml/root/db-config
/db-config
you name it i have tried it.
any help appreciated, yes i added .php to the end of the string.
Thanks

I would expect your typical path to be much longer than that. Often something beginning with /www/usr/ or something like that
Check with your hosting service if you don't know the full path on the webserver.
bye, Dirk
