I want to make the topics block look like....

--Home
News From Development
--Geeklog (196)
--Geeklog 2 (29)
--Announcements (212)
--Summer of Code (11)
--Security (60)
News From the community
--Plugins (55)
--Server (27)
--Spam (10)

The old menu plug in use to do it. But don't seem to work any more.
Is there script to something I can use. I know I can just make it with links.
But it takes a script for the numbers. And thats why I don't know how to do.

If you're running GL1.51 on php5, you can use the new GL menu plugin from Blaine, or just make a plain HTML block. A nested list with some css might look quite nice.

I have Blaine's.
That only makes links.
I don't know how to make a code that will pull the number of stories from the database.
Really I don't even want a number. If I had my way I would just like a small "New" image if there is something new from the last login.
