Help!

Hello,
I'm taking over a website that uses Geeklog. The site has been dormant for a while and I can't contact the previous webmaster, so I'm kinda lost right now. I'm going to be looking through the website files and the geeklog documentation and trying and figure it out for myself, but it would really help if someone could give me info on a couple quick things so I can make some important updates on the site.
Here's the website, in case that helps... http://grove.ufl.edu/~prolife/
1. I don't krow the username and password to login as admin. Is there a file where this information? I looked through the config file but couldn't find it.
2. How do I make new posts? When I log in as a regular user, I can add stuff to the calendar, but I don't see any options for making posts. Do you have to be logged in as admin?
3. I'm trying to update the contacts page (http://grove.ufl.edu/~prolife/staticpages/index.php?page=contacts) on the website, and I'm used to just basic html pages, so I don't understand exactly what it means when "index.php?page=contacts" is at the end of the url. I'm looking through the website files and I can't find where this contacts page is stored or even what kind of file I am looking for. Based on the url, can you tell me where to look for the contacts file?
Thanks, any and all help is appreciated, and let me know if you need any clarification on my questions!

Once you can log in as an Admin user, things will become clearer, I would hope.
Keep in mind that pretty much everything is stored in a database, not in files. You need to get into the Admin "backend" of the site to access and change things. That includes stories, but also that contact form - look for it under "Static Pages".
HTH
bye, Dirk

Thank you! I was able to make myself an admin, and now I'm starting to see how everything works.
