Currently I still use geeklog 1.4.0sr6. How can I rename the link categories without loosing all my entries? I know there's a way to rename it with phpmyadmin, but what's the exact command?
Thanks for your help

I think all Geeklog ExpertAAA they never done this before or may be they so busy to look at your request question. you better to try by your self, if you can't do with phpmyadmin I think you try to do manually.
bye.

Thanks for your reply. Hm, This could be difficult with over 600 entries ;-)

In 1.5.1, you can do that directly in the Links plugin (1.5.0 had a few bugs there).
In 1.4.1, this SQL request should do (untested, as I don't have a 1.4.1 site where I could test it right now):
When you do that, you need to take care of duplicate categories yourself.

Text Formatted Code
UPDATE gl_links SET category = 'new-category' WHERE category = 'old-category';When you do that, you need to take care of duplicate categories yourself.
