Hello,

The problem is much related to same-named FAQ topic, but without changes to theme, just on clean install. Here is what I'm doing :

1. Got Fedora 10 with PHP5, mysql and apachee
2. put public_html contents into /var/www/html
3. put the rest into /var/www/
4. create database and user with all permissions granded
5. run install page, checking UTF-8 support
--- ok, now home page appeared, then
6. login as admin
7. goto configuration and trying to change something, for instance, language or locale
8. click 'Save changes', but actualy nothing changes, browsing back, and there is Language = english

also, cannot rename Admin full name and etc., suppose the same problem in different forms.

What might be wrong? Can you help, please.

Thanks.

It is not a browser / JaveScript problem?

Hi, 1000ideen,

Thanks for reply,

Good catch, it's really highly-likely a script error in Opera, because I've just succeeded to change geeklog configuration page data via Mozilla. However, strange thing is that Opera's errors console contains no info.

The Configuration section requires JavaScript. Haven't heard of any problems with Opera there, though.

bye, Dirk
