Nomenclature

Hi, I have a project to do on a CMS and I chose Geeklog! Presently, I've found a lot of questions asked for the project except one! Here I go : is the nomenclature of geeklog, i.e. geeklog.2.5, is a reference of the PHP compatibility? I hope to get an answer soon! Thanks and continue your good works on it!

There is no relation between the version numbers of Geeklog and PHP. Geeklog 1.4.0, for example, was already running just fine on PHP 5.
We currently increase the second digit (1.5, 1.6, and so on) for major changes. The third digit is for minor changes and bugfixes. Security fixes get an "sr" attached to the version number. See Geeklog Version Numbers for other variations.
bye, Dirk
