edit:

When the person viewing the clean_black theme is on internet explorer, everything is centre aligned.

when viewed using moxilla firefox, everything is left-aligned like it is supposed to be.

why is it different on the two different internets?

sorry, the reason for all of those edits was because i did not understand the problem myself, and was learning as i explored the issue. If you wish to look at it, my url is at www.avenzoar.elementfx.com. Alternatively, you could look at the geeklog demo site with the clean_black theme. basically, in mozilla firefox, both the demo site and my site, both with the clean_black theme, are perfectly fine, but when viewed using internet explorer, everything is centre-aligned. when i view the source, i guess the reason for this is because of the <center> tag, but i do not know how to delete this. i also do not understand why it is fine with mozilla, but weird with internet explorer. a lot of the site users have complained that the site is hard to read with centre alignment so i am desperate to get rid of this before more people get put off the site.

if you don't mind you just add this (align="left" ) in to the:

storytext.thtml, storybodytext.thtml, featuredstorybodytext.thtml, and feauteredstorytext.thtml.
Text Formatted Code
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" bgcolor="#333333">
                            <tr>
                                <td align="left">
                                    <p>{story_anchortag_and_image}{story_introtext}</p>
                                </td>
                            </tr>
                        </table>

for left and right block do same thing.
here:
Text Formatted Code
<td class="featureblock" valign="top" align="left">
  {geeklog_blocks}
  <br>

it will help you look good at IE.

thanks.
