When I add an embedded Youtube link, the link disappears once it gets to the user's email. I used this HTML preview page to test it out.. http://www.draac.com/htmltester.html
When I enter the html there, it works great, but when I send it through an Email to "all logged in users" the email comes through perfect but the youtube video is gone. Is there a way to fix this or make it work?
Thanks!

By the way, at first I did a search in these forums for "email youtube" and nothing really came up. So I just did a search for "youtube" and there are a lot of posts and questions about Youtube in stories, but not really about an Email to all logged in users that goes right to their actual Email inbox. Would I be able to do this with the Youtube plugin that everyone is mentioning for stories? Or is there another way? Or is it just impossible?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Yes... As a matter of fact I had pictures in that message that I host on the web that came through fine. I put the entire code in that HTML previewer up above, and it worked great in that. But when I sent the email that YouTube video wasn't there at all anymore. Was in the html previewer and I had html enabled in geeklog when I sent the email to all logged in users.
Thanks

If your youtube was added via autotags in the youtube plugin..... that is php which would need to be executed serverside. And your sent email is hosted on a mailserver somewhere which has no idea how to execute the autotag.
Or if you embedded it regular style, I'm not so sure embed tags are allowed in html mail.... could be ... not sure.
I created a newsletter plugin which is basically staticpages that allow for emailing and it includes better html email then geeklog's default.
