JavaScript

I tried to run the Geeklog demo but quickly noticed that it relies on JavaScript.
I do not want to start a discussion whether JavaScript is good or evil, so just my question:
Can I implement a Geeklog application without requiring the user to have JavaScript switched on?

Which part exactly?
The only part of Geeklog that requires JavaScript is the configuration GUI. Everything else works without it.

I have looked into half a dozen html pages here and they all containd at least one
<script type="text/javascript">
tag. That led to my question.
Everything else works without it.
All right. I take from your answer that JavaScript is not an essential part of Geeklog. Thanks for your quick reply.

Depends of what you mean with ´user´. If you mean a regular visitor: yes. If you mean someone who will add or edit content etcera: not always, since there are some plugins which use Javascript in the admin part. like GLmenu, and the already mentioned FCK editor in the stories and static pages.
But these days, nearly all browsers have javascript enabled.
