It is so strange. I added a new topic to the site (for a grand total of 3) and wrote and published a featured story for the front page.

The story shows up in the stories list, but not in the topic, and no where on the site. I can go to the admin stories list, click the link, and get the story there.

But new stories are not showing up in the topics, or the front page, or the stories count for the topic.

And the ping symbol is not showing up next to any new stories at all.

HELP!! PLEASE!!

Could be several things:

- marked as a draft?
- date / teim in the future?
- wrong story or topic permissions - compare with the existing ones

Timezones were off...server time and Geeklog time were not matching up, and it was publishing stories 6 hours in the future...set timezone to GMT-0 and now both server time and Geeklo0g time match, and stories are coming out.
