I've always edited my geeklog site with frontpage 2003. I just started using vista, and I tried to pull up header.thtml... It won't open at all, and it says "there was an error when trying to run windows shell common dll. The command c:\windows\system32\shell32.dll failed. So, I tried with dreamweaver cs4... Went to open the page and it seems that thtml pages aren't even visible there. I could be wrong on that, because I'm definitely not a dreamweaver expert. But it does not seem to be an option there. Frontpage was always able to pull these up when I was on XP. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Can't help you with those programs, but the .thtml files often contain incomplete HTML (e.g. tables are opened in one file but closed in another) which seems to confuse some of those so-called WYSIWYG editors.
My suggestion would be: Use a good old plain-text editor.
