Daily Digest was working but a week ago it just stopped sending out emails.
geeklog v. 1.4.1, on CentOS 4.5

Not sure I know where to start looking. I can select to send an email to a registered user so I am assuming email is working.
I have the daily digest as a cron job. When I run the command rather than waiting for the cron it still doesn't send out a digest but I don't get any errors.

... it just stopped sending out emails...

Did you ask your hoster if they changed anything?

It runs on one of my servers. I didn't update or change anything.
Because it just stopped I don't really know where to look to try to diagnose the problem. Really, it was sending out daily digests then over a weekend it didn't any more.

I am running CentOS Linux 4.5 server.
Everything else appears to run OK.

I removed the cron for apache and created a new one.
But, when I try to run the command:
/var/www/html/geeklog/emailgeeklogstories
daily digest doesn't get pushed out.

[root@gemini ~]# crontab -u apache -l
33 2 * * * /var/www/html/geeklog/emailgeeklogstories

In the /etc/php.ini I increased the:
max_execution_time = 90
max_input_time = 120
memory_limit = 96M

But still no joy. The daily digests just don't get sent.
I am at a total lose as to why. I can select a users and send them an email so I think the mail system works. It's just that daily digest will not digest!

I installed manual digest.
I emabled the plugin.
It says there is one new story. I selct to send the digest. It appears to run OK.
But nothing is received by the users.

Again, I don't knwo where to check for problems.

I can select a user from the user manager section and click to send an email and that works OK.

Did you change any rights to topics or so? Maybe there is nothing to be sent to general users?

I didn't change any rights.

There are new stories daily.

Any suggestions even on where to look for the problem with daily digest?
Any tests I could run?
Anything?

Hello Raiman,

I can check it for you but you will need to give me access to your cron manager and ftp account. Contact me by email.

Thanks,
