changing domain name (same server) where geeklog resides

Looking for some help on what to prepare for.

I am having my host do a domain name change for me. My geeklog install is not moving to a new server or anything. IT is simply a cpanel domain change from the host to a new name. All the files, databases, etc will still be on the same server, just with a new domain. What do I need to do to geeklog after this change to make sure it's functional? Do I have to reinstall?

you can add $_CONF variables temporarily to public_html/siteconfig.php to keep yoursite operational until you make the proper changes in admin -> configuration
you'll probably need
$_CONF['site_url']
I use
$_CONF['site_url'] = 'http://' . $_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"];
so any domain would work.
if the system path is changing
$_CONF['path'] will need updated as well.
