Is there any way to show blocks, stories, static pages to users only who are no members?
Like showing a block "become a member!" only to those guests, who have no cookie last visit or password?
How could this be done, would it be useful?

You can set permissions for anon only, but remember admins see all.

Hello,
Are you looking for the check boxes in the Permissions aera? Only select Anonymous and it is done... except for root, because root can see a lot of thing.

[Edit : 1 minute too late :)]
I'm available to customise your themes or plugins for your Geeklog CMS

Thanks, I meant people who are not members of the site. People who log off are anonymous but also members. I want to show the "become a member" block only to non members = anonymous who are not registered with the site.
I suppose they would not have certain cokies. Any ideas?

I´ve had the same problem, since I´m no developer, I solved it with a style sheet selector and display:none for logged in users. A long time ago, I remember something like:
block 1: no title, and only an empty span tag (visible to all)
block 2: no title, closing the span, opening a new span with style=display:none (visable to logged-in users)
block 3: the content, closing the span, and the footer of the block (visible to all)
with the second block, only visible to logged in visitors, you stop displaying the third block.
Since I´m always using an extra empty block template for banners etc. which I used for the 2 first blocks, this was done in seconds.
