Moved my host. Now getting weird error

I'm using 1and1 for my host.

I was running geeklog just fine on the old host.

I moved all of my files over. Then I backed up my mysql tables and put those on the new server.

I edited geeklogextrafiles/db-config.php to change the database info.
I edited ./siteconfig.php and ./geeklogextrafiles/siteconfig.php to change $_CONF['path']

******************************

Now the weird part.

when I load the page, I get

Warning: fopen(/(MY OLD PATH/geeklogextrafiles/logs/error.log) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /(MY NEW PATH)/lib-common.php on line 1924

So I grep -R "My Old Path" * and the only thing that came up was the error.log file.

How is it remembering my old servers path and how do I fix that?

The paths are in the database - updating only db-config.php won't fix them all.

You need to use the Migrate option in the install script, that's what it's for 8)
