Hi, I've installed Slimbox2 (jquery) as my lightbox application. This requires the tag rel="lightbox" for a single image or rel="lightbox-nameoftheserie" for a serie of images, and also title="the text below the image".

Since my editors like to use the FCK editor which only offers the title tag but not the rel tag I made an easy way to do this without adding the "rel" tag to the FCK script (ad having problems with future updates).

- install the Autotags plugin and make this autotag: [lb:] with exactly this content: " rel="lightbox-#1.
- now you upload the image and the thumbnail,
- make the link from the thumbnail to the image, go to the title field in the advanced tab and put in the title field the title and the autotag [lb:] for a single image, or the title plus [lb:nameoftheserie] for a serie of images.

Piece of cake, right?

Hello beewee,

If you need another way, I can send to you my jquery plugin witch support a lightbox autotag [lightbox:picture_url Caption]. The plugin use the timthumb script to make a cached thumnail (75x75) in the images/articles folder, display the thumbnail and link it to the original picture in a lightbox . Pictures can be uploaded via fckeditor.
