Is there a way to make it look like a continuous story on the page you get to after you click "more"?

It separates the intro text and body text with a few spaces it seems. I'd like it to be continuous. Is that possible?

Thanks!

If your story templates use the story_introtext variable, then there will be two BR tags between the intro and the body text. If you don't want that, use story_text_no_br

For more information, see the description of the story variables.

Thanks Dirk... I found article/article.thrml... Where do I put the "story_text_no_br" on there?

This is the entire code on that page now...

Text Formatted Code
        {formatted_article}
        <div class="floatleft" style="width:50%;">{whats_related}</div>
        <div class="floatleft" style="width:50%;">{story_options}</div>
        <div class="clearboth">{trackback}</div>
        {commentbar}

Thanks again...

Hello Kilerb,

Have a look in the main layout folder, you will found to use story_text_no_br in the storytext.thtml and the featuredstorytext.thtml files.

Text Formatted Code
<div class="story">
    <span class="story-icons">
        &nbsp;{email_icon}&nbsp;{print_icon}&nbsp;{pdf_icon}
    </span>
    <h1>{start_storylink_anchortag}{story_title}{end_storylink_anchortag}</h1>
    <div class="story-body">
        {story_anchortag_and_image}{story_introtext}
    </div>
    <div class="story-footer">
        {edit_link}&nbsp;{page_selector}<br />        {readmore_link} {post_comment_link}<br />        {start_comments_anchortag}{comments_with_count}{end_comments_anchortag} {start_trackbacks_anchortag}{trackbacks_with_count}{end_trackbacks_anchortag}
    </div>
</div>
<div class="block-divider"> </div>

Thanks a lot... The space is smaller now. There's still 1 line of blank space between the first and 2nd part now. Is it supposed to be like this? http://www.socalstandup.com/article.php?story=wasabistory

Thanks

Kilerb,

With the story_text_no_br you need to use plain text as advanced editor will always create a paragraph for the intro and another for the body.

If someone have a solution Confused:

If I use the plain text editor I can avoid this? Or no?
